Quiltz in da house

Yesterday I finally got around to hanging a few of my quilts in our bedroom. We rent a house, which here in Australia means you cannot put a nail in a wall without written consent of the owner of the house, so I just used the nails that were there already. Unfortunately there are no nails in the living room, butI do think the bird quilts look nice here!

After making this photo I thought it would be nice to show you all the quilts currently on display in our house. It is winter here in Oz and the nights get quite cold, so we all have a quilt on our bed. Here's the selvedge quilt on our bed:

Hugo has his Aussie quilt on his bed and the Hugo quilt on the wall, with his gymnastics medal and ribbons pinned to it:

I put my little Ernst quilt on the nail above the cupboard in the boys' room:

Ernst has his I Spy quilt on his bed:

Poor Robbie is still waiting for me to make him a quilt... In the meantime he has my very first quilt on his bed - I made it for Hugo in 2006:

The jar quilt hangs in the dining room annex kitchen because everyone really likes it:

I showed you the KISS quilt in my sewing room a while ago:

And I almost forgot the sampler that hangs on the couch and the little Dutch quilt that I made into a pillow cover:

(this photo was taken a few weeks ago when Robbie had a plaster cast).
Are your quilts all over your house too?

Linda, I had no idea you were such a newbie too. Well a few years longer than I, but not much! Yes, I have mine in the family room/art studio; hallways (2), stairwell, bedroom! And at an art show and soon many will go to the Town Square Library for show for several months while we are doing renovations in the house. We are like bunnies propagating with our abundance of cloth art!

Hi Linda
I've made a few jar quilts too. My favorite is bug jar quilt I made for my son's 10th birthday. I'll see if I can dig up a photo to show you. It was gorgeous!

Thanks for the sneak into your home, Linda. I have added some of the quilts in my home on my blog too.
