Yesterday I finished the log cabin quilt. The handsewing wasn't so hard after all ;-).
What do you think of it? I like it, but think now I should have made the outer border a lot wider...

I've made a label as well, of course:

The quilt is called Loca; short for log cabin and meaning 'crazy' in Spanish - which I thought I was quite a few times when making it ;-).

Tonight I'm starting on the tree quilt for Around the world in 20 quilts. I'm really looking forward to that!

Hi Linda, the quilt is gorgeous. Sorry I have not written in such a long time - busy quilting! Have been enjoying all your Postcards too, something I have not had a go at, as yet! Have you made any new bags?

Fabulous log cabin, and great colours....we have been working with the same colours on the opposite side of the world! LOL
see my blog for my black and white and red quilt!

The ATC's are terrific! They look great in the plastic box!

Mooi geworden hoor! En een leuke naam ook voor de quilt :-).

Ik ben benieuwd naar je boom. De mijne is bijna af. Nog een paar takken vastmaken en klaar.

Linda it's a great quilt and I like the borders how they are.

When I saw Loca,it reminded me of Loca-tion, and with the way you have set out the log cabin blocks it seemed like it focused me on the middle - the location, the location of the log cabin.

Hey it looks really good. And I love the little red spots in the centre of the label lettering - like tiny Log Cabin blocks!

Well done Linda, it looks good, but I agree with you about the border, but then hindsight is always perfect.
