Flanello has arrived!

At last! Yesterday Flanello arrived at its destination in The Netherlands and baby Vincent's mother let me know that they liked it very much!
This is the first quilt that I have given away as a present and it feels good!

So now I can put some photos on this blog:

The idea is from a book (No-Sweat Flannel Quilts by Beth Garretson); I changed the colours and the sizes. It's the first quilt that I freemotion-quilted. (Yes, I have a long way to go yet..)
Although it's far from perfect I like it very much! :-)

I can see why Vincent and his Mum would love this quilt. When quilts are given as gifts they hold so much more than just warmth and comfort.

I hope your new job goes well and your enjoying you life in Brisbane.

go well
