Europe
After a great conference in Berlin I am now in Groningen, my favourite city in the whole wide world. I'm staying with my BFF Hylkia and yesterday we had a great day, doing a lot of shopping. At the market I bought some funny yarn to make a scarf:
There was a stall with a lot of different oil cloths. I bought a nice one to make buntings for Blue Jacaranda. It was hard to choose just one!
I visited Cordi Atelier, a wonderful quilt shop, and bought some Den Haan & Wagenmakers fabrics (chintzes):
The funny thing is that this shop is in the street behind the one I used to live in when I was working in Groningen (and has been for many years, so it was there when I lived there) and I never knew it!
This is the little house I owned at that time:
It's great to be here but I do miss my boys and will be glad to see them again in 4 days!

Wat een eldorado is Cordi! Ik ben er vorige week ook nog geweest, maar toen had ik daar cursus. Ik werk in Groningen, dus ik kom er ook regelmatig. Leuke wolletjes ook! Breien is hier weer helemaal "in". Geniet er maar van.
groetjes, Marjolijn
