Queensland Quilt Show

Today I went to the Queensland Quilt Show with Rens. She made this picture of me and my kookaburra quilt:



It was very special to see it and the log cabin quilt hanging there among all those wonderful quilts! (and to hear someone say she loved it :-))



I couldn't do much shopping as I was exhausted after looking at all the quilts - not a bad thing in these times of recession. Just bought 2 rosy FQs, - after all the artsy things I now feel the urge to finally make that rosy quilt for our bed with all the FQs I got for my birthday last year.
Did a nana nap when I got home - have to go back to work tomorrow, so better be rested...
